Politics wells up in the wake of a late First Lady

Lady Bird Johnson, LBJ’s wife, passed away recently in Texas.

Ironically, JFK’s assassination in Texas gave her Texan husband the US Presidency automatically – just as Watergate gave Mr. Ford the Presidency later on.

Many remembered her political association with the Democratic Party.
